Small Great Things by Jodi Picoult
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
The Sellout made more sense. I realised what was wrong with this book when I saw the author was herself privileged. I guess that's why she made all the privileged characters become good in the end. It's a nice book but doesn't do justice.

Review: The Sellout
The Sellout by Paul Beatty
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow!
The cover says American satire but trust me there's nothing funny about this book. It is the best thing I've read this year.

Review: The Giver
The Giver by Lois Lowry
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Wow! Now, this is one Dystopian-Utopian conflict that is worth reading.
A world where things are actually as we often wish them to be. No color, no gender discrimination, no worry of food, and all that you have ever wanted. Turns out it's not that perfect after all.

Was expecting more. It's an okay read. Definitely not as good as Giver.
